Mino ware, or Mino-yaki, is one of Japan's most celebrated pottery traditions, produced in the Gifu Prefecture region for over 1,300 years. Known for its diversity of glazes and techniques, Mino ware has long been favoured for its versatility and understated beauty.
The Artichoke Tea Set brings together the Artichoke Chawan and two matching Artichoke Yunomi, each piece sharing the same faceted, layered texture reminiscent of overlapping artichoke leaves. A soft celadon-green glaze gathers at the rim of each piece and fades into a pale, speckled cream tone, with the unglazed clay foot left bare in a deep charcoal hue — a striking contrast that grounds the set. Together, the bowl and cups make for a beautifully coordinated matcha setting, equally suited to everyday preparation or sharing tea with a guest.
