Every session is split evenly between learning the story behind Japanese tea and actually making it yourself.
Part One (60 min)
Tea Knowledge
- Types of Japanese tea
- How green tea and matcha are made
- History of Japanese tea
- How to brew each tea
- Health benefits of Japanese tea
- Choosing your teaware
Part Two (60 min)
Hands-On Demonstration
- Guided demonstration of proper technique
- Prepare your own bowl of matcha
- Brew your own cup of green tea (sencha)
- Questions welcome throughout
