A tea canister keeps loose-leaf tea fresh between brews. Our tea caddy is handcrafted in Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, using kabazaiku, the traditional Japanese craft of shaping wild cherry bark. Its surface deepens in colour and gains a soft sheen with use. Each piece varies in grain and tone, so no two are alike. To measure the leaf out, pair it with a kabazaiku tea spoon.
