Tea Spoons

A tea spoon measures loose-leaf tea from the canister into the teapot. Ours are shaped from wild cherry bark in Kakunodate, Akita Prefecture, using kabazaiku, a traditional Japanese craft, and each is sized to sit inside a tea canister. Choose the minimalist scoop or the gourd-shaped flower scoop. With use, the bark deepens in colour and develops a soft, glowing patina. Pair one with our kabazaiku tea caddy.
