A chashaku is the bamboo scoop for measuring matcha: two scoops is about the 1.5 to 2 g that makes one bowl. One comes in every Ceremony Kit.

Our chashaku comes from a manufacturer with a 500-year-old tradition in Nara Prefecture, Japan. Each one is carved by hand under the guidance of a master craftsman, and in 2008 the workshop's work was exhibited at the Louvre Palace Museum in Paris.

It pairs with our chawan, our chasen and whisk holders and our organic matcha.
