Japanese Tea & Matcha Wholesale for Cafés
EdoMatcha supplies cafés and restaurants with organic Japanese matcha and tea, sourced directly from family farms in Kyoto, Kagoshima and Fukuoka. Only about 5% of tea produced in Japan is organic — we sell nothing else.
Why cafés work with us
- A certified expert behind every order. EdoMatcha is run by Taka Kaneko, one of only two certified Japanese Tea Instructors in Australia.
- Direct farm relationships. Our Kyoto supplier partnership spans 50 years; our Kagoshima farm has grown organically for around 30 years. No importers in between.
- Training included. Taka trains your staff to prepare matcha properly — on site or at one of our workshops — so the drinks your customers get match the quality of the tea.
- Australian stock, fast dispatch. Everything ships from Australia; anything in stock is dispatched within 1–2 business days.
What we supply
- Ceremonial-grade organic matcha (Kyoto and Kagoshima) — our ceremonial grade is also what we recommend for lattes
- Organic hojicha powder — for hojicha lattes and baking
- Organic loose-leaf tea: sencha, hojicha, genmaicha and gyokuro
- Brewing tools and teaware: chasen whisks, chawan bowls, kyusu teapots
