HARIO Filter-in Bottles are for cold-brewing tea in the fridge. The tea leaves go straight into the bottle, a filter mesh in the spout keeps them in as you pour, and a silicone stopper seals it. Cold brew takes 3 to 6 hours in the fridge, and our genmaicha is ready in 2 to 3 hours at 10 g to a litre. The bottles suit green tea, hōjicha and genmaicha, and everything comes apart for washing and is dishwasher-safe.
They come in four sizes. The 300 ml and 750 ml bottles and the 1,000 ml carafe are HARIO glass; the 1,200 ml is PCT resin, shaped to lie on its side on a fridge shelf. HARIO has made glassware in Japan since 1921.
