The large 1,200 ml HARIO Filter-in Bottle in smoky green, for cold-brewing tea in the fridge. It is made from PCT resin rather than glass, and its shape lets it lie on its side on a fridge shelf.

The tea leaves go straight into the bottle. A filter mesh in the spout keeps them in as you pour, and a silicone stopper seals it.

How to cold brew

  1. Put 12 to 20 g of tea leaves in the bottle.
  2. Fill with cold water to the top mark (1,200 ml).
  3. Fit the stopper and leave it in the fridge for 3 to 6 hours.
  4. Pour through the spout.

It suits green tea, hōjicha and genmaicha. Our genmaicha cold-brews at 10 g to a litre in 2 to 3 hours.

Everything comes apart for washing and is dishwasher-safe.
