Mino ware, or Mino-yaki, is one of Japan's most celebrated pottery traditions, produced in the Gifu Prefecture region for over 1,300 years. Known for its diversity of glazes and techniques, Mino ware has long been favoured for its versatility and understated beauty.

The Artichoke Yunomi takes its name from the faceted, layered texture carved into the lower half of the cup, reminiscent of overlapping artichoke leaves. A soft celadon-green glaze gathers at the rim and fades into a pale, speckled cream tone, with the unglazed clay foot left bare in a deep charcoal hue — a striking contrast that grounds the piece. Each cup carries subtle variations in glaze pooling and colour, a natural result of the firing process.

Made in Mino, Gifu Prefecture, Japan
Volume: 160 ml

Please note: The shape, colours, and capacity of each Yunomi may vary, a testament to their individuality and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each piece.
