This kyusu takes its name from the word Isshin (一心) meaning "one mind" or "wholeheartedness." It reflects a state of total, undivided presence and sincerity. Handcrafted in Tokoname, one of Japan's six ancient kiln towns with about 900 years of kiln history, this kyusu teapot wears its origins proudly in every curve and grain.
