The Kokuryu Chawan takes its name from Kokuryu (黒龍), meaning "Black Dragon", a name that speaks to its commanding presence and deep, mysterious glaze. Handcrafted in Mino, one of Japan's oldest and most revered pottery regions, this matcha bowl embodies over 1,300 years of ceramic mastery with bold, dramatic character.
