Kasumi, meaning Mist.
Mino ware, or Mino-yaki, is one of Japan's most celebrated pottery traditions, produced in the Gifu Prefecture region for over 1,300 years. Known for its diversity of glazes and techniques, Mino ware has long been favoured for its versatility and understated beauty.
The Kasumi Teacup is finished in a soft, mottled grey-and-white glaze that drifts across the surface like a rolling mist, deepening slightly near the rim and fading toward the base. The unglazed clay foot is left bare in a warm, sandy tone, grounding the piece with a natural contrast. Its tapered form and quiet palette make it a versatile addition to any tea setting.
Made in Mino, Gifu Prefecture, Japan
Volume: 120 ml
Please note: The shape, colours, and capacity of each cup may vary, a testament to their individuality and the meticulous craftsmanship that goes into each piece.

Each piece is made by hand, so the glaze on yours will differ from the photograph. That variation is the character of the piece, not a flaw.
