Hario V60 Drip Scale

Japanese tea is easy once the numbers are right: a set weight of leaf, a set amount of water, a set steeping time. The Hario V60 Drip Scale weighs to 0.1 g at the low end, where a few grams of sencha or two grams of matcha live, and its timer runs from the same panel, so one press starts the steep. Put the kyusu on the scale, tare it, pour to your target weight and watch the clock. It is the fastest way to make a good cup repeatable at home, and it does the same job for a pour-over coffee.
