Fūjin and Raijin are two of Japan's most iconic deities, often depicted together in classical Japanese art. Fūjin, the Wind God, and Raijin, the Thunder God. Together they represent the powerful, elemental forces of nature.
This yunomi is crafted in the Kutani ware tradition, celebrated for its rich, glassy overglaze and intricate, vibrant artistry. Each cup features in-house developed glazes and precision detailing, then hand-finished and kiln-fired for lasting quality.
Kutani ware, or Kutani-yaki, originates from Ishikawa Prefecture and dates back to the 17th century, blending centuries-old technique with everyday functionality.
Made in Ishikawa, Japan
Volume: 240 ml

Please note: The condition of the glaze differs from piece to piece due to the nature of the pottery, so colour and size may vary slightly from the image shown.

Each piece is made by hand, so the glaze on yours will differ from the photograph. That variation is the character of the piece, not a flaw.
