Mino ware, or Mino-yaki, is one of Japan's most celebrated pottery traditions, produced in the Gifu Prefecture region for over 1,300 years. Known for its diversity of glazes and techniques, Mino ware has long been favoured for its versatility and understated beauty.

The Asobi Neko cup features a playful cat design in traditional sometsuke blue-and-white style, batting at a ball of yarn with a curious, cheeky expression. A striped band runs along the rim, framing the scene with a classic charm. Finished on a clean white glaze, this cup makes a fun companion piece to our Chilling Neko cup.
