Aozora means blue sky. This is the palest piece we stock — a cool, washed blue that thins almost to white over the shoulder, smooth-glazed rather than fluted, on a rounded teardrop body.

The point of a whisk holder is that it makes the right thing effortless. Rinse the chasen under warm water, shake it off, drop it over the dome — three seconds, and the drying takes care of itself. Care routines that need remembering do not survive a weekday morning; ones that sit on the bench next to the kettle do.
