Ao Danro, meaning Blue Fireplace.
Mino ware (Mino-yaki) comes from Gifu in central Japan and accounts for around half of all Japanese ceramics. Every bowl is finished by hand, so the glaze and colour vary a little from piece to piece.
Made in Mino, Japan
Diameter: 8.2 cm
Height: 7.8 cm
Please note: The condition of the glaze differs from one to another due to the characteristics of the pottery, so the colour and size may differ from the image.
Ships Australia-wide and worldwide, with free Australian shipping on orders over $100. See the full range of Japanese tea cups.
Each piece is made by hand, so the glaze on yours will differ from the photograph. That variation is the character of the piece, not a flaw.
